22nd January is Chinese New Year and we enter the year of the Water Rabbit. (See Below for your particular sign).
The Year of the Rabbit is a year which will bring good luck, peace and success to most zodiac signs, especially those born in a Rabbit year, because Rabiits represent peace and calm. Seeing this year the Rabbit is in the element of Water you can guarantee there will be some focus on our emotions and our relationships with ourselves and others. The Water element also puts emphasis on our psychic ability, our
connection to our spiritual pathway, diplomacy and negotiation skills. We can expect major changes in politics as new leaders step up. We need to be creative to create peace on earth in our lifetimes and this could be the year to get the ball rolling.
Those born under the Rabbit are often calm, decisive, and rarely panic. So those from other signs such as Rooster who can be a little hot tempered will benefit from these calming energies. The Rabbit influence will temper those of us who are impulsive or have our heads in the clouds. This means that by thinking carefully before taking action we can fulfill our plans successfully. So the areas of career and health issues are well starred, and money will start to flow more easily than before.
What we can be sure of is that there will be lots of change this year for us all. While some people will do away with the misfortunes they had in 2022, some will need to brace for trouble and unfortunate accidents.
Rabbit years bring lucky breaks and partnerships, for those on their true paths. Rabbits may not the strongest animal, but their charm and speed attract money, fertility, love and success.
What previous Water Rabbit years have brought us?
The last Water Rabbit year was 1963 and was the year hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets demanding freedoms and it was the year Martin Luther King gave his famous “I have a dream” speech. President Kennedy was assassinated, and Indigenous Australians were give the right to vote in elections.
If we look back to 1903 (also a Water Rabbit year) the first successful powered flight by the Wright Brothers took place thus openning our skies to modern air travel and our ever shrinking world.
Other Rabbit years, with different element signs include 1999 and President Clinton’s impeachment trial. 2011 saw the end of the Iraq war as well as multiple leading politicians resigning.
The Year of the Water Rabbit combined with a universal seven numerological year, which also focusses on spiritual growth, you can guarantee will bring about some very positive changes both personally and globally whilst improving our relationships, parenting and work, by consolidation, negotiation and mediation rather than conflict which is what we are seeing currently.
How can we get the most out of 2023
Cast your mind back to the last few Rabbit years. What were your dreams in 2011 because now will be the time to focus and bring them into reality? Have those dreams followed on from where you were in 1999 or 1989? What happened in those years for you? Can you see a common thread? What are your dreams for 2023 and the future and what action can you take this year to start the process to bring them to reality?
Be discerning in your thoughts and actions. Don’t take other’s words to heart. Let go of issues that are not yours and move on to a brighter future. Identify your assumptions and let go of your usual reactions. Find creative solutions to problems, especially if they are recurring problems.
It's a water year so wallow in water whenever you can. It is a healing element as well. We all know drinking plenty of water is good for us and so is using it in healing methodologies. Watch your diet. Develop yourself, personally and spiritually to create a happy life now.
