One thing of the first things I learned, in my first Tarot class many years ago as that our thoughts affect our emotions and how we feel. In Tarot the suit of swords represents our thoughts, cups our emotions, wands our actions and pentacles our achievements. I can hear you thinking “what does this have to do with science let alone with Emotions affecting our Reality”.
One of the few things in life we can control are our thoughts. Whatever we think about, affects how we feel, which affect the action we take which has a direct effect on what we achieve. So, we have an idea, if it feels good, we act on it, and eventually, we achieve something. We manifest something physical in the real world. But it started as a thought from which we had an emotion, a feeling, about something which popped into our consciousness.
Because what we think about affects our emotions, they also affect our reality at that moment in time.
Think about a happy memory and notice how you feel. What are you experiencing at the moment you are thinking about that memory. Your reality is a happy good experience where you feel good. Try doing that whenever you want to change your experience of a moment. When things may not be going your way. Stop the incessant chatter in your head and focus on something good however small and you have changed your reality.
This shows how your thinking affects your emotions and your perceived reality but do our emotions affect our physical reality?
Recent studies have proven that human emotions can and do shape a person’s perception of the world. Not only that but they can also shape the physical reality around them. These studies have shown how human emotions defy the laws of physics.
There have been three separate and unrelated experiments conducted regarding the effect our emotions have on the physical world. All the studies showed that all human beings create their own realities through the feelings they project.
The Experiments
Below is an excerpt from an article found at www.unversityherald.com
In the first experiment, scientists isolated a human DNA in a sealed container that was placed near the person they took it from. Then, the researchers gave the subject emotional stimulus to elicit different emotions from the person.
Surprisingly, the sealed DNA responds the same time the person responds. What's more interesting is that it responds differently to negative and positive emotions. When the subject reacts positively, the DNA relaxes and when the reaction is negative, the DNA tightens.
In the second experiment, scientists isolated leukocytes or white blood cells from the test subjects in order to measure the electrical charges as the subjects were given emotional stimulus. The same thing happened - the leukocytes experiences the same peaks and valleys as the donors' emotions at the exact same time.
The scientists wanted to make sure how far the DNA can make a connection from its source. So what they did was take the DNA 50 miles away from the donor. Despite the distance, the DNA's response is the same.
The third experiment was even more shocking. Scientists placed human DNA into a vacuum of light photons that were behaving randomly. However, when the human DNA was inserted, the photons stopped acting randomly but followed the geometry of the DNA.
In layman's terms, the physical DNA had an effect to the non-physical light photons. What's more surprising is that when the scientists removed the DNA, the photons were still in order.
These experiments show that whatever a person feels can manifest in the physical world. If a person thinks he or she will get sick, then it can become a reality. If a person feels they will get well, they will. /em>
The converse of that is equally true, if a person feels they will heal then they will.
A True Story
I have a friend who was in her 30’s when she was told she had both breast and ovarian cancer. The doctors wanted her to have both breasts removed and a hysterectomy. She could see all the shadows on her Xrays but she believed she didn’t need the operations. Against all advice, including my own, she refused all medical treatment and set about using a number of different complimentary therapies. She followed Dr. Hulda Regehr Clark, (a Canadian naturopath, author, and practitioner of alternative medicine who claims all human illness are a result of parasitic infection). She also did a lot of work with myself around healing the deeper emotional issues surrounding these areas of the body as stored in the bodies energy system using NLP, Reiki, as well as working with working with crystals, and aromatherapy oils.
During this time, she refused all medical treatment and did not visit a hospital or Doctor.
Two years later she felt she was well and went on a celebratory cruise where she met her future husband who is a medical doctor. He was obviously worried and insisted she have more tests. Because she loves him, she agreed, and they could find no signs of any cancers at all.
Whether it was her belief or any one or all the complimentary therapies she used that healed her we will never know. What I do know is that she is now in her 50’s and living very happily with her husband in Australia. My personal feeling is that she “knew” what was best for her and had the courage to follow her intuition, but I am sure I wouldn’t because I believe energy healing works but should be used as a compliment rather than an alternative.
I do not recommend this course of action to anyone. All therapies mentioned should be considered complimentary NOT alternative.
