Science tells us that everything in the universe is made up of the same basic matter put together in different combinations. We are made of the same matter as the stars, our planet, and each other.
A human being is a part of the whole called by us “universe”, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. All of this upholds what indigenous peoples have believed and lived by for centuries – that all life is interwoven, we are all made up of the same elements that form the universe but it is our human experience is what makes us divine. We can see from our own history and that of our universe that everything goes through cycles of change at the heart of which resides the cycle of life, death and rebirth; whether that be the eons of a galaxy or the life of a single snowflake. As we enter 2014, this year is numerologically a year 7 which is the number of the wisdom seeker, the sage and philosopher. It is the number of contemplation, of deep-thinking, introspection and seeking perfection within. During this year we will all at sometime or another go through a process of deep inner reflection, seeking clarity of who we are, seeking the perfection within and who we want to be in the future.
