Cultivation
The apple has changed over the years of human cultivation. Originally apples grew from seeds and tended to be a bit sour, now they are grafted and of course are quite sweet. Plant some apple seeds and see what type of tree and fruit you get now.
Of course there are lots of things you an do with apples as well as just eating them. Remember Toffee Apples at the fair or seaside. Apple Crumble, Apple Struddle, Apple Sauce, to name but a few. Let alone the all American favourite, Apple Pie. So have an apple today.
