11 February, is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Science reflects the people who make it. Only 30% of researchers worldwide are women.  Women are predominently right brained creative beings and usually not considered to be rational scientific creatures.  We all know of Marie Curie but a quick Google came up with more than 50 others.  The intuitive part of the brain can add so much to our future. 

The world needs more women and girls in science

That intuitive right brain allows them to lead innovation and ground-breaking research. They have created life-saving medicine and broken the sound barrier, explored the universe and laid the foundation to understand the structure of DNA.
