Reiki Practitioner Certification

Reiki Practitioner Certification

A Core Curriculum for Reiki Professionals was agreed and published in 2008 by National Occupational Standards and by adhering to the curriculum and the minimum requirements as set out by the complimentary and natural healthcare council (CNHC) you will, on completion of this training, be able to practice as a Reiki Practitioner and also be included on the National Register which will allow you to work within the NHS and other government led bodies.

To enable you to become registered you need to be able to prove not only your competence but also have evidence of your training.

Minimum Requirements for Registration

240 hours of theory and practice 25% theory 75% practice.

60 hours face to face teaching with your Reiki Teacher

5 hours face to face with a supervisor

75 hours of documented treatment of others

10 written case studies of a minimum of 4 sessions each which can be part of the overall 75 hours documented treatments of others

100 hours of documented self and received treatments.

Training must be over a minimum of 9 months and can include some techniques from Master level.
No distance attunements will be accepted. All attunements MUST be in person.

You can contact me as often as you need as you work through your practice sessions and on-going learning until you have received your certification.

To be certificated as a practitioner you will need to:

Provide a log of the hours spent on your training and self-healing (form attached)

A total of 100 hours of receiving Reiki Treatment - I would suggest you continue to keep records after your 100 hours because you never know if they will increase the number of hours or the proportion of hours necessary.

Reports on your 10 in-depth case studies incorporating no less than 4 sessions. These will entail 4+ 1 hour sessions with 10 different clients.

A report of how your self healing has helped you during your training including your original healing detox. You will be able to take the information for this from the Reiki Journal I recommended you keep after your Reiki I training.
